Ever since the Trans-Siberian Railway was completed at the turn of the last century, adventurers have dreamt of makng this epic 10,000-km voyage from Moscow and Saint Petersburg to Vladisvostok. Born from the wish to make a connection between the European part of Russia and the far eastern part of the country, in 1891 the Zar Alessandro III began its construction, after his death the works were continued by his son Nicholas and were finaly finished in 1905, a year later the war between Japan was announced. Today aboard the Trans-Siberian Express, a real "modern hotel on wheels" you can enjoy the journey of a lifetime traversing the world's largest country and experiencing first-hand the people, cultures and traditions. From the magnificence of its westernised capitals to isolated permafrost outposts, where people exist as they have for centuries, this private train will open the door to the vast, untouched splendours of a country, once hidden behind the Iron Curtain.
Deluxe Cars
The Deluxe carriages are specially designed for the discerning traveler wanting the very best.
The en-suite bathroom are amongst the most spacious available in rail travel today, providing power showers and underfloor heating. The modern, air-conditioned cabins offer the best, latest technology ranging from plasma TV screens with DVD/VCR players to the audio system and individual climate control. Each carriage features it's own private bar/lounge area for Deluxe passengers exclusive use.
First Class Sleepers
Each air-conditioned cabin provides an ideal, cosy environment for experiencing Russia at firsthand. Carriages are fitted with two lower berth beds that convert to daytime sofa seating, with cabins being discreetly designed to provide optimal amenities and ample storage space. Individual shower/changing rooms are available in our dedicated shower car. Attendants enhance the cariages comfort level by pampering pasengers with round-the-clock service and care.
Bar Car
This is the focal point of the train, whether it be to chat about Russian traditions, or peruse the books, videos, games and magazines available, passengers can relax and enjoy the comfort of this cosy hive of activity.
Restaurant Car
The dedicated chefs take you on a journey of discovery through the area's delicious gastronomy, preparing exquisite foods ranging from local delicacies, including caviar and champagne, to international cuisine. An extensive list of fine, quality wines from thoughout the world compliment the meals, along with mineral water and naturally vodka.
